La Brasserie
Welcome in a typical brasserie-restaurant in the heart of an
authentic Gruyère village of the Jaun Valley. We exclusively use
local produce for our dishes. The Gruyère Baths are
only 3 minutes from the hotel away.
Gastronomic Restaurant Gastronomic Restaurant “L’Orangerie”, awarded 14 GaultMillau
points, welcomes you in a snug, modern setting. Breton Chef Tegwen
Naveos has a passion for detail. Sampling his sophisticated
dishes, among which exquisite fish, is a real treat.

local produce. Enjoy a varied cuisine, among which vegetarian and
healthy options and don’t miss out on our choice of herbal teas.
Coffee is served with real Gruyere double cream.
Restaurant “La Tomate” spoils you with all the great classics
of Italian cuisine. A part from fresh pasta and a nice choice of
pizza, the menu offers white truffle, black squid ink fagiolini,
black pudding carpaccio, roast hare tenderloin, kid stew and beef
tenderloin.

landscape. This new complex of buildings with an unique innovative
design offers more than 600m2 inside and outside swimming pools,
Turkish baths, jacuzzi, sauna, beauty and wellness corner. The Baths
of Gruyère are situated approximately 100 meters from the Hotel
Le Sapin. Tickets can be obtained at reduced rates at the
reception.
In summer you can profit from the vast area of 150 km walks
and
hikes of varying difficulty.
In winter there are 8 lifts and 16 km
of downhill skiing, swiss ski and snowboard school and a skating
rink.

The hotel Le Sapin in Charmey is situated in the heart
of Gruyere , in the Valley de Jogne, Switzerland.
By car :
Join the motorway A12, which connects Vevey with Bern and
take
the exit n° 4-Bulle. Continue then direction Charmey via
Broc.
The hotel is located in the village centre on the left.
By train :
Bulle train station is at a distance of 12 km from Charmey and
reachable from Palézieux, which lies on the railway line Lausanne-
Bern. From Bulle train station take a bus as far as Charmey.
By plane :
From Geneva airport, at a distance of 125 km, rejoin the
motorway direction Lausanne, then Freiburg/Fribourg as far as Bulle
and follow then above instruction.
By public transport, there are direct trains to Palézieux train
station and follow then above instructions.
From Zurich airport, at a distance of 190 km, rejoin the
motorway direction Bern, then Vevey as far as Bulle and follow then
above instructions.
By public transport take the train as far as Freiburg/Fribourg and
from there a bus to Charmey.
