Capuns is a traditional dish from the Grison made of Spätzle-pastry, enriched by herbs, finely sliced Salsiz or air dried meat from the Grison. The pastry is being wrapped up in mangold- (colloquial: Capuns leaves) or lettuce leaves. The Capuns is then being cooked and scalloped with cheese from the alps and served with a sauce made of half milk half bouillon.

Pizzocheri is a meatless dish made of potatoes, Pizzoccheri (buckwheat pasta), carrots, leave spinach, onions, garlic, peas, herbs and cheese. The potatoes, together with the Pizzoccheri, are then being cooked in salted water and thereupon mixed with the vegetables. Finally, sage and cheese are being added.

In the summer, the resort is an ideal starting point for walks, cycling tours for all tastes, historic footpaths and fishing. Mountain bikes are available for free. There’s a riding stable with organized one-day tours on horseback.

Winter offers 30 km of downhill ski runs, an 8-km long cross-country ski track, ski touring, tobogganing, ice-skating etc.

Excursions lead to the Engadine valley, St. Moritz, Pontresina, the Upper Engadine lakes, Bernina Pass and the more than 5'000-year-old city of Chur.

Bobsleigh in St. Moritz
If you wish to have an experience of a life time, slope down in a bobsleigh on the St-Moritz' Olympic track like Michael Schumacher does!

The team for this thrilling descent is composed with a professional pilot at the front, of a person in charge of breaking at the rear and of two seats in the middle of the bobsleigh for the customers. This descent lasts approximately 80 seconds...

You can send your request for reservation for a descent in bobsleigh to Giancarlo Torriani, Minotel owner in Bivio (first on the left of the picture), Swiss champion & Swiss vice-champion of bobsleigh for four in 1976 and champion of Europe in bobsleigh for four in 1977.
