Innsbruck, capital of the Tyrol and former Olympic city, lies in the
heart of the Austrian Alps. The city can be conveniently reached
from
Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
Minotel Goldene Krone is located opposite Triumphpforte (triumphal
arch) and directly at the beginning of Maria-Theresienstrasse,
Innsbruck’s main shopping street.
Arrival by car :
Coming from the west, from Landeck, from Switzerland or from
Germany (from Munich via E533 Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Mittenwald)
Arrival via highway A12, exit no. 79 Innsbruck-West. Follow
the direction of Zentrum on Egger-Lienz-Strasse.
Coming from the east, from Salzburg or from Germany (via E60, E45)
Arrival via highway A12, exit no. 73 Innsbruck-Ost / Zentrum.
Continue on B174.
Coming from the south, from the Brenner Pass or from Italy
Arrival via highway A13, exit no. 3 Innsbruck-Süd. Continue
on
B182 in the direction of Zentrum.
Then follow the arrows Hotel Route grün (green) until the
signs for Hotel Goldene Krone guide you further on.
Arrival by train :
Innsbruck main station is well linked to Italy, Germany,
Switzerland,
Salzburg and Vienna. To get from the railway station to the hotel,
take Salurner Strasse for about 500 m. The hotel is located right
after the triumphal arch, on your right.
Arrival by airplane :
Several international flights, notably from Frankfurt, Milano,
Amsterdam and London, regularly land in Innsbruck Airport.
A taxi to the hotel costs about 10 euro.
